GET THE KIDS WRITING!
From: Diana Moore

I saw a piece in a recent Writer's News about writing for a children's magazine - the pay looked very meagre... and when I looked up the website, sure enough, I found that it was children (age 8-18 yrs) writing for children. So anyone out there with kids in that age bracket... might like to know the website: it's mylittlemagazine.homestead.com

KELLY/MAC CULLOUGH - THE COLLABORATION .....BUT THE MISSIS KNOWS!
From: Danny Mac Cullough

Christine Kelly & Danny Mac Cullough whose TV sitcom, "GORILA!" reached the second reading stage of last year's BBC Talent competition, are now co-writing a 45 minute play for Radio.

Christine says its a black comedy with several intriguing twists and turns - (her words, not mine).

Danny wrote the the storyline and and the first ten pages of dialogue. He then posted it onto Christine who in turn contributed her "3p's" worth.

From that point the two kept the Postman busy with drafts going to and fro, before Danny finally decided to join the 21st century and invest in an iMac. Now he and Christine do their co-writing via the Internet - there's progress for you!

By the way, Danny's missis: she doesn't object to this particular boy/girl relationship - as long as she gets a share of the cheque!

DEAD RINGERS
From: Gill Smith

I've recently heard on the grapevine that Dead Ringers no longer take non-commissioned work. The grapevine claims that Adam Bromley, the producer has stated this. If anyone knows any different, or has more information, do let us know on the BSCW forum.
